"Rīgas satiksme" reminds about different priority degrees of tickets loaded into e-tickets
"Rīgas satiksme" reminds that up to 8 different types of tickets having different degrees of priority can be loaded into an e-ticket. When a trip is registered, the system automatically chooses the ticket having at the best price. For example, if a one-month ticket, a ticket for a certain number of trips and a minibus ticket have been loaded into an e-ticket, when registering a trip in "Rīgas satiksme" public transport, the system’s first choice will be the one-month-ticket, but when it will expire, the ticket for a certain number of trips will be registered. When the two previous tickets will be also used, the minibus ticket will be registered.
„Rīgas satiksme” carried out an opinion poll on its website in March asking customers: „Do you know that tickets loaded into an e-ticket have different priorities?”. The results of the opinion poll show that a part of respondents do not know about such priorities and would like to learn more about it.
To inform passengers about different degrees of ticket priority, „Rīgas satiksme” has placed special videos on monitors in public transport and customer service centres, as well as in social networks.
